A SMALL appetite

wheeee!~

Today was the first EX3 service and I thought Pastor Shirley preached really well. I loved the part about the sports car driving at 20km/hr. I'm determined to live life to the fullest with GOD! The service really refreshed me and reminded me what I am on earth for :)

Nowadays I'm having an OH MY GOSH appetite. Okay let me recall what I ate today...... For breakfast at around 10am, I ate a chocolate cake. Then after the dance ministry auditions (which went quite smoothly) at 12noon, I ate wanton mee PLUS lianrong bao. For dinner, I ate my current favourite food-- chicken rice and, ahem, a big piece of pizza from Saniro pizza. hehe.

Enjoy the food while you can! Come on, girls out there stop dieting!! Life is SO bland without FOOD!!!

Yinling said maybe because it's the pig year that's why I'm eating so much, no link can? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

Wushu

Lectures are getting really boring and I'm dozing off during most of the lectures zzzzzzzzzz

Yesterday after netball training, me liting and huiying went down for wushu training. It was fun! Although the warm up is quite tiring but I'm determined to master how to split. hahahaha.

When we finish the simple warm ups, we sat down and watch them go through the next level of training which was basically a lot of kicking and jumping, oh no, should be flying. hahahahaha. And to end off the training, there were a few performances by the seniors and some DSAs, I'm really impressed. Really looking forward to the next wushu training!! :)

p.s. the coach is very shuai can....

Sharing Christ

I really want to thank God for giving me this breakthrough -- sharing Him to someone I know for only about 1 week. I prayed for courage to share and bring people to chruch and God gave them to me. I'm really happy and I guess I'm going to be addicted to bring more people to church!

Actually in the past, I'll always be on the verge of bursting into tears whenever I try to share Christ to people. I really don't know why. I prayed to God for me to not be so emotional and I could share like most people do. I did it on Saturday!! There should be joy since He died for all our sins and there's a room for me in heaven!! Although my visitor -- josephine -- didn't convert, but she said she believe it's just that she don't like to commit and she'll feel guilty if she accept and not commit. I really hope God can touch her (like how He touch me and make me more commited to Him). She's a really easy-going and nice girl, so I really look forward to shepherding her :) Okay, I'm still working hard towards loving everyone I meet in my life =p

God told me to guard my mouth. I admit I'd been mean and gossiped a little. I'm still trying to change. It takes a whole lot of self-discipline to not to gossip.

I could smell the wind

The weather was really great today. Sunny yet windy! I could literally smell the wind, the smell reminds me of the tournament periods. After every match, we'd be debriefed by coach and will be really determined to play better in the next coming match; we'd change our shoes to slippers, our smelly shirt to a clean one; we'd comment about almost every opponent we played with on that day's match and of course discussed about our play enthusiastically. I realised that my life is much more livelier with netball..

This is so funny!!

The poor angel

My favourite pastime during my primary school days is to fold stars. I had a glass bottle full of stars, unfortunately, the lid broke.

Because of my very tight schedule, I have no time to tidy up my room. So my dad, being super free at home, tidied up my room and saw the "lid-less" bottle of stars. To resolve the problem...

He did THIS. The poor angel. HAHAHAHAHA

An answered prayer

Phew! Finally finished my "Bai She Zuan 100". For those people who know the website, do drop by and take a look at my new production. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Okay, enough crap.

The Civics Grouping is out -- I'm in 07S202.

The real timetable is out. There's no more long long breaks in between lectures and I got to meet my Civics Group people! They are really nice people, easy to get along with and enthusiastic at times. haha. Most importantly, finally I have someone I know in the same CG as me -- Qiqin.

Besides my civics-mates, I got to know some of my tutors, all of them looked nice. haha. Oh, and my Physics tutor was a scientist! How cool is that?! He'd been to HongKong, ShangHai, Tokyo and Canada to do researches. He even had an experience as a farmer in Canada growing corns that were fat and juicy. hahahaha.

I really hope the "first three months" will be over soon so that yanlin, vivian, chewpeng can come and join me and liting at MJC. It'll definitely be much more fun-er with them around...

Today during care-group, God answered my prayer and gave me the burden to feel for the lost. Thus, just now on the messenger I invited my OG-mate to service this saturday and... she agreed!! God had been really good to me, He didn't give me the burden and leave me alone. I HAVE A VISITOR!! :)

Learning

I learnt quite a few things when I grow older:-
1) not all people can be trusted
2) there're a lot of insecure people out there lying to you so that they can feel secure
3) discrimination and bullying still goes on even at my age
4) we dance couple mass dance because we are mature. (huh?, right?)
5) I have an "oh my gosh" appetite
6) typical girls eat very slowly and they say they are full when there's still half a plate of rice left.

Vincitore

What you wanna be ah?

What you wanna be ah?
ATLAS WARRIORS!

GOOOOOOO....... ATLAS!

Weeeeee... Just back from Meridian Junior College's orientation (Vincitore) and had lots of fun :)

Day 1 (3 Jan)
It was a TERRIBLE day. Basically, meridian has 5 different houses -- ATLAS (yellow), Miranda (black), Phobos (red), Callisto (blue) and Triton (green). Unfortunately, me liting and huiying ended up in different houses :( Liting went Miranda, Huiying went Phobos, obviously, I was in Atlas. I was the most unlucky one -- to go to a group without any people I know, not even someone from anglican. To make things WORST, there were only 6 girls excluding me. Moreover, they had their own clicks from their own school T-T. Therefore, I made myself the outcast. This explains why I felt horrible even up till a point when I felt like crying (but I didn't cry okay). WE danced, cheered, played games however the people weren't enthusiastic at all. I guess the leaders were having a real hard time getting us involved. haha.

Day2 (4 Jan)
I started to talk to the girls and it made me felt much better as they didn't not welcome me. haha. At first we were all still quite soft and passive in the morning but when the MMM(something like amazing race) the guys in my group started to high. Had fun and we came in champion group for our route :) Things started to turn out well and the mass dancing sessions were "high-er" too.

Day3 (5 Jan)
It was Wet and Wild time. When they say wet and wild, it IS wet and wild. I was totally drenched when I only went to the first station. The game i/cs and the og leaders splashed and poured water on us when we were playing the games, even if the games have nothing to do with water. But I had great fun :) Everyone was much more enthusiastic than before, me myself played and cheered ebthusiastically.

The campfire at night was crazy. We cheered and cheered and cheered. So what if Atlas came in 4th ( out of the 5 houses)? The most important thing is that we had fun! Wheeeeeee!

I really want to thank my og leaders as they were really patient and nice to us even when we were really not enthusiastic. Thanks for giving us such a great orientation~

Wheeee eeee eeeee!

Last caregroup :(

Had caregroup today, it was the last caregroup. The atmosphere was a little wierd when I reach the RC, I guess everyone can't bear to leave each other... We were only starting to get used to each others' presence; just starting to get to know each other at a deeper level. Although we may be irritated during some occassions but we were also enjoying each others' presence...

Anyway we played Uno Stacko and had fun~ hahaha.

Oooooo, the stack of blocks are floatingg.... hahahahaha.

Actually, there's one block below. Gotcha! HAHAHA

The forfeit -- drink the Ginseng Tea. I went to the Herbal Tea shop and asked the uncle to give me the most bitter drink. But, actually it's not really bitter.

Vivian tried to pull these two blocks at the same time but failed -- the whole stack collapsed. HAHA

I sew this handphone pouch for Yinling. Nice!

EC1!!

(from right: ting, yinling, vivian, kerlyn, huijuan, jolene, tryphoza, me)

I'll definitely miss this caregroup as this is the caregroup that help me take a step out in commiting to the church, to God.

Happy New Year!!

Happy new year folks! haha. I had a great first day of 2007 going out with my mom and her friends. First we met and had lunch at Crystal Jade Restaurant at Parkway Parade. We ordered TOO much food and we end up spinning the suzane( I don't know how to spell. Don't laugh), finishing up the food that stop in front of your seat. It was quite fun. HAHA. Oh ya, I saw Adrian Pang while eating. His two kids are cute, I wanted to take a picture of them secretly but I'm afraid to be sued. haahahhahahaha..

Yum Yum!
Leftover food. I tried my BEST to eat as much as I could.

I was the oldest among the kids so you can guess how young they are. Kids won't miss arcades in shopping malls, so we went to the Timezone. I played DDR and the basketball machine. As I was the oldest, I was incharge of the card and had to be where those kids are.... and I was so shocked by one of the little kids' level of play in "Percussion Master".

She got an "S" grade and I can testify that the game was quite tough. Kids nowadays......

After all the madness, we went to East Coast Park which was just 10 minutes walk away. Okay I know it's kind of wierd, but we went.

My stomach gave me a signal its dinner time so we went to eat steamboat at marine parade. It was DELICIOUS! Especially the mutton cooked in the TOM YUM SOUP. Initially I hated tom yum soups because I find the taste real wierd, but after today's dinner, I changed my mind.

Tom Yum on the left, Chicken on the right (obviously)

*BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRP*

Oh, there's a tinky-winky (teletubies) look- alike among the kids.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I reached home at around 10.30pm. At first I was really exhausted and was about to sleep after a bath, but looking at the horrible mess in my bedroom, I couldn't stand it anymore.
