phew!
everything went smoothly on stage today!! wooohooo!! i think we put up a very good performance on stage! yay! haha (:
it's very true that " tai shang shi fen zhong, tai xia shi nian gong ". we spent so much time practicing the dance and everything ended in juz a short 2 mins+. i think the most important part is not the end-product but the process. we started from scratch, with no idea how to start... slowly we choreographed the dance.. practiced for hours.. failure in audition.. revival.. shopping for costume.. having the nervous feeling when we were about to dance..and finally.. DANCING ON STAGE! come to think of it, i really felt blessed and i was really thankful for everything tat HE had done for us.
actually today didnt start well cuz i woke up late and i got really nervous when rehearsing at the concourse -- i forgot steps & my cap fell off. i can feel butterflies in my stomach.. it really felt like real butterflies!! then when the councillers ask us to go to the backstage and prepare. my large intestine rumbled n i felt like shitting!! but luckily i was able to control it. hahaha. i nervously recite the dance steps in head and in a few moments time i found myself on stage posing, waiting for the curtains to open. i was almost shivering when i heard the audience mumbling. it sounded as if there was a million of them down there.
"Let's get it started.. in here~" the curtains opened. there weren't as many audience as i expected. so the butterflies in my stomach rested after much flying vigorously earlier in the morning. i wasnt that nervous anymore. Moreover xiaohua & nana were right in front of the stage making us laugh. thanks to them, i quite enjoyed the performance (:
after the whole thing i was like phew! somemore quite a number of ppl said our dance was cool and NICE!! hahaha. n tat dumb yanlin almost cried because of that . dumb leh! hahaha..
this whole dance thing can run so smoothly is because HE is up there guidong us & blessing us. THANK YOU!
